Being the oldest child in a family that prioritized service and discipline Nick discovered a passion for coaching and teaching shortly after graduating high school. After playing football and earning a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Nick moved to the Quad Cities to coach football and earn a Masters degree at St. Ambrose University.

Over the last ten years Nick has continued to increase his knowledge and experience in exercise and nutrition as a hobby while starting a family with Megan and their four kids (Aaron, Ava, Abrianna and Adalynn). Recently Nick has teamed up with The MoveMeant gym (locations in Moline, IL and Davenport, IA) to further efforts to impact the community in regards to their overall health.

Nick’s experience specializes in ways to establish habits to create a path that connects where you are now to your goals. Nick currently has a personal training certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

What makes Nick tick?

Love: Love God. Love for family. Love for people. A love for learning, teaching and a love for doing everything and anything better than everyone.

Competitiveness: The level of my competitiveness has allowed me to be a part of two nation championship football teams. It has allowed me to graduate with a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and a masters degree in Organizational Leadership.

Gratefulness: “Much will be required of everyone who has been given much. And even more will be expected of the one who has been entrusted with more.”

I understand that I have been very blessed in my life both in my upbringing and also currently in what I have. It is because I am so grateful for my health and everything that I have, that I want to be responsible with it all and make sure I do all I can to give more than I have received.

It is because of this yearning that I not only want to take care of the body and mind I have been given but that I also want to help others in these same areas. It is my life’s passion to pass on the knowledge that I have (and I am constantly gaining) to help everyone I can improve both their physical and mental health.

Determination: I despise just the idea of doing anything that measures out to the middle of the pack. I think I enjoy the word copious so much because I am not a person who naturally does things in moderation.

I believe that this can be both a good thing and a bad thing. It has driven me to achieve things that were deemed impossible or that had never been imagined until they were made manifest. It has also blinded me from time to time.

In an attempt to miss as little as possible I have started trying to harness desire into a very few avenues. One of them is learning. I am determined to continuously learn and implement that which I learn into my life. I also believe we should never stop working hard and that we should never stop serving.
